Hi William,
Thank you for your enquiry.
All of our Engineers attend an in-house training course prior to starting in the field, but all Engineers are also required to pass the City & Guilds 2377-02 exam. This is the industry standard for PAT Testing.
Should you require further information please email me at r.antcliff@hawktest.co.uk
Kind regards,
Richard

Hi Richard
I have had previous experience of pat testing.A few years ago. I worked for a vending company that covered the uk working on Coca Cola and Mars vending machines. at regular intervals we had to pat test these machines. This was a regular service we carried out but even with this experience I never got any certificates to prove my knowledge. Do I stil require C & G 2377 to carry out this service? And could you use me in any way.

Hello Richard,
I reside in South Wales about midway between Cardiff & Swansea.
Since being made redundant from my previous engineering position, I’ve gone on the following courses and was wondering whether you had any vacancies in this area:-
C&G 2377 PAT Testing – Pass
C&G 2382 – 17th edition wiring regs – passed
C&G 2391 – Electrical Inspection & Test – Taken the 5 day course and sat the exam but will not get the results for another 2 or 3 weeks.
Many thanks,
Kevan Jones
