UKAS Approved ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 Latest Additions

Hawkesworth Appliance Testing was recently awarded UKAS approved ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 This is the first in a line of approvals the company is gaining. “This is yet another step towards our Total Quality Management (TQM) system” commented Tim Crowley Managing Director.
Electrician critical after Kent college accident

An employee of contractor NG Bailey Ltd is reported to be in a critical condition following an electrical incident at West Kent College in Tonbridge.
The incident occurred on Saturday, a colleague of the injured worker was also injured.

Fatal injury rate at an all time low

The Health & Safety Executive has announced that fatal injury rates among people at work in the period 2008-2009 were the lowest ever recorded if has been revealed. 180 people were killed at work in that period. Further evidence that a regimented inspection regime helps in lowering injuries.
